The aftermath of the tornado that ripped through Oklahoma yesterday have left many searching for loved ones, and hoping to find ways to help. The list below should assist you in finding reputable organizations that will request for assistance as needed:
- If you are a survivor of the storm and would like to let your family know, please add your name to the Safe & Well list provided by the Red Cross. You can do so by following this link.
- To donate to the Red Cross efforts you can do so by dialing 1-800-REDCROSS or texting REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.
- Visit www.Serve.gov for ways to volunteer.
- A disaster relief fund has been set up through Disaster Relief Oklahoma.
- To partner with the Salvation Army call 1-800-725-2769.
It’s also been recommended to update your social networks (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) to let your family know you are safe, as phone communication will be difficult at this time.
