he seventh annual “Off the Beaten Path Studio Tour” will be held September 12th,13th and 14th, 2008.
Once a year the artists of the “Off the Beaten Path Studio Tour” open their private studios to the public for an inside look into their world. This is a unique opportunity to meet the artists in their own environment and see where and how they work. Twenty five artists ,include potters, weavers, photographers, blacksmiths, jewelers, wood workers, painters, basket makers and more, are participating in this free self-guided driving tour. This is a great opportunity to purchase artwork directly from your favorite local artists and take home a unique piece of the Ozarks.
The Studios will be open from 9 am to 6 pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday All studios are within 30 miles of the Court Square in Mountain View , Arkansas. Starting on September 7th you can register for the tour and pick up your free Guide Books and maps at the Chamber of Commerce’s in Mt.
