The Ozarka College Foundation Board of Directors appointed a new member at its quarterly meeting held in March 7, 2011. Pamela Setser of Mountain View was unanimously appointed to serve a five year term on the Foundation Board.
Pam has been the Business Development Officer at Centennial Bank in Mountain View for the past three years. Prior to this position, Pam spent 23 years at the Mountain View Telephone Company. Pam’s family moved to Mountain View in 1962 so community is very important to her. Always involved in community activities through her music or volunteerism, Pam has served or is serving on the Chamber of Commerce, Committee of 100, and Stone County Abuse Board.
Pam and husband, Vic have three children and two grandchildren. She is enthused about serving on Ozarka’s Foundation Board, “Education is so important and I am very thankful to have Ozarka available in Stone County. I feel it gives so many more students the ability to go to college, an option that was not available to me when I graduated from high school.”
