Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives (AR-2) French Hill Reacts to President’s State of the Union Address

Little Rock, Ark.–Little Rock businessman and Republican candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives (AR-2), French Hill, issued the following statement in reaction to President Obama’s State of the Union address last night:

“Our economy is frozen, wages are flat, Obamacare is not working, and Americans have little faith in Washington. Five years later, President Obama refuses to accept responsibility for his misguided leadership. In addition, you do not solve partisan gridlock by steamrolling over Congress and the Constitution with new executive orders. In short, I am disappointed with the president’s desire to double-down on broken policies, promises, and politics.

“In Congress, I’ll work to repeal Obamacare and replace it with reforms that improve access and lower health care costs for all Arkansans. I’ll support policies that help Arkansas’s entrepreneurs start and grow their own businesses and encourage families to save and invest. And I’ll demand greater accountability at every level of the federal government and vote to cut spending and balance the budget.”
