State Police have identified a suspect in connection with the murder of a Crossett woman

Special Agents of the Arkansas State Police have identified a suspect wanted in connection with the kidnapping and murder of a Crossett (Ashley County) woman and the subsequent robbery of a North Crossett bank which occurred last Thursday (July 1st).

Law enforcement authorities in both Arkansas and Louisiana are searching for Peter Keith Harvey, 41, (Photo Below) who was last known to reside in New Orleans.

Harvey is described as a black male, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 235 pounds.  He was last known to be driving a late model white Cadillac Escalade (Photo Below) which was photographed recently by security cameras outside a retail store.

Harvey is believed to be armed and should be considered dangerous and may be in the Shreveport or Opelousas, Louisiana areas.

If anyone has information about Harvey or knows of his whereabouts, they should contact the Arkansas State Police or the Ashley County Sheriff’s Department.
