The communities of Tumbling Shoals, Ida, and Drasco Seeking High Speed Internet

A group of people in the communities of Tumbling Shoals, Ida, and Drasco that have formed a committee called Rural Internet Association (RIA).  The goal is to compile a list of households that would be interested in acquiring reasonably priced HIGH SPEED INTERNETservice if the option were available. The list will be use the list to try to spark interest in providing that type of service in the area.

If you are interested in having access to HIGH SPEED INTERNET service if it were available, please fill out the information below, tri-fold this flyer where the RIA address is showing on the outside, apply a stamp, and drop it in the mail.  Or you can email all the information indicated below to Rural.Internet.Association@gmail.com.

  The Federal Communications Commission and the State of Arkansas each define high-speed Internet as “download speeds no less than 768 kbps and upload speeds no less than 200 kbps”.  Reasonable price for high-speed internet for the purpose of this survey is defined as $30 for 5M (500K) and $50 for 10M (10,000K) download speeds for residential use.  This survey does not obligate you in any way to subscribe to service, nor does it guarantee serviceability to your particular address should it become available in the future.
