U.S. Senator Tom Cotton Statement on U.S.S. Fitzgerald Accident

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) today released the following statement on the loss of seven sailors in an accident involving the U.S.S. Fitzgerald:

“I want to offer my condolences to the family and friends of the seven sailors we lost on the U.S.S. Fitzgerald yesterday. There is no end to the danger our men and women in uniform face, even in peacetime. We, as grateful citizens, must always remember that. May God bless them and welcome them into his warm embrace.”
