Van Buren County Youth Recipe Contest Deadline April 8

VBC youth in grades 4 through 12 (includes home-schooled students) are invited to enter the Dairy Foods Recipe Contest. The two categories are: Party Foods and Main Dish. Entry forms can be picked up at the VBC Cooperative Extension Service (501-745-7117) or the Farm Bureau Office (501-745-2117) in Clinton. Deadline for entry forms is Friday, 8 April by 3:00 pm.; completed entry forms (including the entry recipe) should be turned in at the Cooperative Extension Service Office.

The contest will be conducted at the VBC Fair Ground’s Kitchen Building on Saturday, 16 April at 9:30 am. Cash prizes will be awarded in each category for 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place winners. The first place winners in each category will represent the county in the state contest.
