Title: 1st Public Forum to feature UA professor

Description: The Department of Communication at the University of Central Arkansas will present its first Public Forum lecture of the 2011-12 academic year Thursday, Sept. 22, from 2:40-3:55 p.m. in the College of Business Room 105.
The guest speaker will be Dr. Lisa Corrigan, assistant professor of communication at the University of Arkansas. She will talk about “Afrofuturism and the Politics of Possibility: Radical Social Love and the Career of Michael Jackson.”
The lecture is free and open to the public.
