Melbourne – Ozarka College recently named Career Pathways Outreach Specialist, Laura Lawrence as the 2010 Outstanding Staff. She will represent Ozarka in that capacity in October at the Arkansas Association of Two-Year College (AATYC) annual conference.

Lawrence has also recently accepted a new position at the College as Director of Financial Aid. She will transition to her new position July 1st and states, “The opportunity to serve students is very exciting to me and it is satisfying to see students accomplish their educational goals.” Laura began her career at Ozarka four years ago when she was hired as an assistant in the Admissions Office before taking her current position with Career Pathways where she has worked diligently to help students obtain services they need to succeed.
After attending Ozarka College and receiving an associate’s degree, Laura obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Arkansas State University and is currently seeking a Master’s degree from Arkansas Tech University. Laura’s husband Travis, and their children, Abbie and Ty live in Sage.
