Governor Asa Hutchinson and Secretary Smith Confirm 22 New Cases of COVID-19 for a Total of 426 Confirmed Cases in Arkansas and 3027 negative cases as of 1:30 pm as of March 29, 2020. 6 Total Deaths and 2 Deaths from Cleburne County in Greers Ferry and 1 Death from Van Buren County in Fairfield Bay. At the time of this press Conference the total was 426 (66 are health care workers), it breaks out as 15 children under the age of 18, 135 over 65, and 276 adults from the age 19-64 (60% are women, 40% are men) and 43 Hospitalized, 16 ICU Patients and 43 are in nursing homes. 28 people have recovered. A total of six (6) Deaths reported with COVID-19 two of deaths from Cleburne County and one from Van Buren County.

Governor Asa Hutchinson declared Sunday, March 29, 2020 Day of Prayer for Arkansas.
