6th Annual Variety Night Scheduled For October 15

The sixth annual John 3:16 Variety Night will be Saturday, October 15, 2011, at UACCB’s Independence Hall, 2005 White Drive, Batesville, AR. Variety Night is an annual fundraiser to benefit the Ministries of John 3:16.

This year’s event will be a night-at-the-movies theme and the men at John 3:16 Ministries will roll out the red carpet for area residents to enjoy the evening while helping raise money for a worthy cause.

Tickets are $10.00 and include a catfish or chicken strip dinner. They are available at Dairy Queen, First Community Bank and Citizens Bank. Tickets also include entertainment, and a drawing for door prize sponsored by BAD BOY MOWERS… a 2011 60” EASY RIDE “LIGHTNING” Z SERIES BAD BOY MOWER!! (Must be 21 years or older to be eligible for door prize). Citizens Bank’s money machine will be filled with cash, coupons and prizes and available free to children 12 and under.

Don’t forget about the fun filled live auction with auctioneer Mooney Starr! He will have you laughing the entire time with his fun filled technique! Some of the items being featured are: Scrumptious Pies, a NEW MZ Bad Boy Mower 48” Deck, 60-inch Mitsubishi HC3D TV and a Panasonic Blu-ray player (donated by Aaron’s), a 110 youth camouflage four-wheeler (The Camo Shop in Jonesboro), a John Deere youth ride-on tractor (Williams Equipment), guitar and amp (All-Star Music), a Dr. Pepper ping pong table (PepsiAmericas), a 2007 TRX 450 R Honda four-wheeler and a 1988 black GMC 1500 Sierra SS truck with 350 four barrel, custom 20-inch wheels and tires and a JVC hi-definition custom stereo!

Dinner begins at 5 pm, silent/live auction 6 pm and entertainment at 6:30 pm. Sheriff Keith Bowers will serve as Master of Ceremony for the event. Congressman Rick Crawford will sing during the evening and other entertainment will feature the Batesville West Magnet Dance team led by instructor Danielle Jenkerson and Kay Jenkerson as well as the John 3:16 Band.
