A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM THIS AFTERNOON. A WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST MONDAY.

A wintry mix is expected this morning…before changing over to all snow by 9 am in the river valley…and by noon across the Batesville and Newport areas. The snow will end from west to east this afternoon. The very cold conditions will develop tonight into Monday morning.

Today Rain, snow, freezing rain, and sleet, becoming all snow after noon. Temperature falling to around 20 by 5pm. Wind chill values as low as 4. Breezy, with a north northwest wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. Total daytime snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 4. Wind chill values as low as -14. Blustery, with a north northwest wind around 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 11. Wind chill values as low as -14. Blustery, with a northwest wind 15 to 20 mph.

Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 6. Wind chill values as low as -5. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph becoming light and variable after midnight.
