Abbott Laboratories Honors WCMC Lab

The White County Medical Center Laboratory has been honored with a Partnership Award from the Abbott Laboratories Diagnostics Division for outstanding work, dedication and commitment to quality in using the Abbott Architecture instruments.

Abbott Diagnostics Field Service Representative Richard Rhea presented the Partnership Award to White County Medical Center Chemistry Supervisor Shana Robertson, Chemistry Supervisor Scott Turley and Laboratory Director Greg Ashby.

“It is very important to recognize the efforts of the Laboratory staff; they are essential to patient care,” Richard said. “Shana and Scott have been highly engaged with the ownership of the chemistry instruments since the installation nearly six years ago. They care for the equipment well and always take the initiative to ensure its maintenance and use. Also, they consistently offer good ideas and suggestions on process improvement.”
