The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved bids for improvements to roadways in Faulkner County.
The purpose of the first project is to overlay approximately 4.5 miles of selected sections of County Road 42, County Road 83, and County Road 245 near Springhill.
The purpose of the second project is to overlay approximately 3 miles of selection sections of various city streets in Enola to include Garren Lane, Branch Road, Hacker Lane, Cut Off Road, Matthews Road/Church, and Park Street; and approximately 1.3 miles of selected sections of various city streets in Mount Vernon to include Carmichael Road and Colony Road.
