WASHINGTON – Secretary of the Air Force Deborah Lee James presented U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR) with the Secretary of the Air Force Distinguished Public Service Award, the Air Force’s highest public service award bestowed to private citizens.

“I am honored to receive this award,” Boozman said. “My dad was a Master Sergeant in the Air Force, so this branch has always held a special place in my heart. I am proud to support the Air Force and the men and women whose service and sacrifice make our country safer. I look forward to working with my colleagues to provide the Air Force with the resources it needs to advance its mission.”
