On Friday, March 28th and Saturday, March 29, 2013, the Rotary Club of Cleburne County will hold the First Annual Anglers Expo. The Anglers Expo will feature a huge variety of vendors (among witch Cabellas), special events, and displays for those interested in fishing, hunting, camping, boating, and other outdoor activities. Among the planned events are the following:
· SWAMP PEOPLE
· Steve “Wildman” Wilson will be Emcee for the day on Saturday, March 28
· Hourly seminars or demonstrations by AG&F biologists and other experts
· Antique fishing lure and tackle appraisal
· Fly casting demonstrations
· “Fishing Greers Ferry Lake” Seminar
· “Fishing on Rotary Pond” (for the kids)
· Silent Auction
· Wildlife art and photo exhibit
· The Arkansas Game & Fish Commission Mobile Aquarium
The Anglers Expo will be held at the Heber Springs Community Center with exhibits planned for spaces inside and outside, and is produced, promoted, and managed by volunteers who are members of the Rotary Club of Cleburne County.
