Archey fest in Clinton will start at 6 p.m. Friday, June 24. Events for Saturday, June 25, include a fishing derby at 8 a.m.; a daylong crafts fair and political and activity booths, all opening at 9 a.m.; a softball tournament and three-on-three basketball beginning at 9 a.m., and the carnival begins at 10 a.m. There will be food vendors throughout the festival, and bands scheduled to play beginning at 2 p.m. include Double Shot and Lucky Draw.
The annual Archey Fork Classic Car Show will be held on the Courthouse Square downtown from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Events wind up Saturday night with fireworks in the park at dark.
