The Arkansas Broadcasters Association (ABA) and its Board of Directors are pleased and excited to announce the association will charter Arkansas’ first Society of Broadcasters Engineers (SBE) chapter.
“We are proud to take this step towards better serving our engineers and believe it will provide our engineers the platform they need to network and strategize on advancing their professions and attracting young talent.” says Ali Sugg, ABA Board President.
The association’s inaugural SBE meeting will be held during the association’s 70thanniversary ARKCON event in July and in conjunction with the association’s annual Engineering seminar.
The SBE is the only organization devoted to the advancement of all levels and types of broadcast engineering.
Once the association’s charter process is complete and approved, it will become the 115thlocal chapter of the SBE.
