Arkansas Highway Commission Approves Bid for Improvements in Searcy County

SEARCY COUNTY (1-28) – The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved a bid for improvements to roadways in Searcy County, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
The purpose of this project is to resurface 0.6 mile of various city streets in the city of St. Joe, to include: Tennyson (Searcy Hwy 217), Church (Searcy Hwy 405), Main (Searcy Hwy 404).

Marion County Paving, LLC of Summit was awarded the contract at $142,284.11.
Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is expected in mid 2021.
