Arkansas Highway Commission Approves Bid for Improvements in Searcy County

SEARCY COUNTY (11-10) – The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved a bid for improvements to a roadway in Searcy County, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials. The purpose of this project is to construct and install a traffic signal at the intersection of U.S. Highway 65 and Zack Road in Marshall. All Service Electric, Inc. of Hot Springs was awarded the contract at $141,376.70. Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is expected in late 2017.
