WHITE COUNTY (1-28) – The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved a bid for improvements to roadways in White County, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials. The purpose of this project is to resurface 2.1 miles of various city streets in the city of Bradford, to include: SW 6th St., W. Elm St., SW 3rd St., and W. Park St.
Atlas Asphalt, Inc. of Batesville was awarded the contract at $206,242.77. Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is expected in early 2021.
