The highly anticipated Arkansas ProStart competition, scheduled for March 6, 2024, at UA-Pulaski Tech Culinary Arts Institute, will bring together culinary talents from across the state.
- Four schools will compete in the Culinary competition, showcasing their skills in menu creation and taste.
- Two schools will compete in the Management competition, demonstrating their knowledge of the restaurant industry.
- Judges include renowned chefs such as Cynthia East and industry professionals like Scott Sudduth.
Following the competition, an awards dinner will be hosted at UAPTC, featuring a meal prepared by Chef Jamie McAfee and his culinary students. Winners will advance to the National Invitational ProStart competition in Baltimore.
