Arkansas Scottish Festival sponsoring poetry contest

The Arkansas Scottish Festival is sponsoring a poetry contest with a $100 prize for the winning entry. Any type of poem may be entered as long as it has a Celtic theme. Andrea Hollander Budy, Lyon College’s Writer-In-Residence, will judge the entries. Prizes will also be awarded for second place ($50) and third place ($25). The contest winner will be invited to read his or her poem at the ASF Celtic Concert on April 12 at First Presbyterian Church in Batesville. The deadline for submissions is March 30.
