Arkansas Storm Update for Each County

North Little Rock – The Arkansas Department of Emergency Management is monitoring the severe weather and flooding activity that has occurred on April 30 and continuing. The State Emergency Operations Center is activated to a level III.

Damages have been reported in Crittenden, Conway, Dallas, Howard, Jackson, Lonoke, Mississippi, Pulaski, Saline, Stone, Van Buren and White Counties.

Crittenden County

The Crittenden County Emergency Manager has reported flash flooding in Marion and West Memphis. Multiple roads are blocked and the sewer in Marion is backing up.

Conway County

The Conway County Emergency Manager is reporting that the missing person has been located in Center Ridge. There is structure damage along Hwy 9 and Hwy 124.

Dallas County

State Police Troop F has reported structure damage in Carthage as well as down trees and power lines. One home has been reported with damages.

Howard County

The Howard County Emergency Manager reported trees down throughout the Dierks area. Power outages are sporadic throughout the area. A gas leak had occurred but has been shut off. One adult and two children sustained minor injuries when their vehicle was blown off the road near Dierks on Hwy 70 west. Two businesses were damaged.

Jackson County

State Police Troop B has reported one home with damage and several structures damaged on Hwy 17. The Auvergne water treatment plant has been damaged.

Lonoke County

State Police Troop A has reported an estimated six homes damaged along Hwy 294 and South Bend. Several homes have also been damages along Summer Lane and Hwy 294. A mobile home has been destroyed at Graham and Kerr Rd.

Mississippi County

State Police Troop C reports trees and power lines down in Manila.

Pulaski County

State Hwy along Saline County border and the 8900 and 9000 blocks of Hwy 365 near Sweet Home were blocked by downed trees.

Saline County

The Saline County Emergency Manager has reported that the East End Fire Department and the East End Baptist Church have been damaged. The following roads have received damages both structural and debris: East Fairview Rd, Tucker Lane, Dalton Rd, Arch, Ashley, Shady, Carl Moren and Spring Lake Cut-Off. There are an estimated eight. Governor Mike Beebe has deployed Arkansas National Guardsmen to the area.

Stone County

The Stone County Emergency Manager has reported one house partially destroyed. Power outages and fallen trees are being reported across the area.

Van Buren County

The Van Buren County Emergency Manager has reported updated human impact totals. There is 1 fatality and 10 injuries in the community of Scotland. The community also has widespread structure damage. Shady Grove has a reported 3 mobile homes destroyed. Governor Beebe has deployed Arkansas National Guardsmen to Scotland.

White County

ADEM Area Coordinator reported flash flooding throughout the county. One home on Jones Road has damaged due to a falling tree. There are two reported injuries.
