Associated Women for Harding to host princess and super hero party Feb 16

A princess and super hero party will be held by the Associated Women for Harding Feb. 16 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Cone Chapel for children and parents.

Children will be provided with crafts, snacks and a Pied Piper show with the children’s theatre troupe performing as princesses and super heroes.

“Every child — or every child at heart — has that princess or super hero who they want to be,” Pied Piper Director Dottie Frye said. “We’ll do some stories about super heroes and a princess or two. I’m sure we will recognize special guests who happen to be princesses and/or super heroes, and we’ll have so much fun on a cold February day.”

The event will be held in Cone Chapel, and the Pied Piper show will be held in the Heritage Auditorium. Children are encouraged to dress in costumes. Tickets are available in the Office of Alumni Relations, Harding Academy Elementary office and the Tangerine Turtle at 918 E. Race Ave. Tickets are $10 for children and $5 for adults. The proceeds will benefit the AWH scholarship fund.
