Arkansas State University-Beebe is excited to announce the dates for Vanguard Discovery Camp this summer.
Vanguard Discovery Camp will be held Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the Searcy campus June 5-9; Heber Springs campus June 12-16; and Beebe campus June 19-23.
The science, technology, engineering, art and math (S.T.E.A.M.) modules designed for youth entering 4th-6th grades introduces the next generation to the world around them in a fun and interactive way, while also providing exposure to vast career fields and technology concepts.
This day-camp format engages campers in week-long sessions filled with intrigue, exploration, creativity and challenge. Students will have the opportunity to learn through hands-on involvement, explore drone technology, and embark on positive experiences that set them on a trajectory toward a rewarding future career.
The Vanguard Discovery Camp, though structured, provides a no-pressure learning environment. Students participate in relaxed, affirming surroundings where they build lasting relationships. The focus is to ignite a desire for lifelong learning.
