Attorney General Leslie Rutledge Announces Cleburne, Conway, Independence, Izard, Searcy, Sharp, Stone, and Van Buren Counties Officers of the Year

 Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge today hosted the 19th annual Officer of the Year awards and recognition luncheon at the Benton Event Center, where she announced, Heber Springs Police Department Sergeant Mark Stine as the Cleburne County Officer of the year, Morrilton Police Department Chief Sonny Stover as the Conway County Officer of the year, Arkansas State Police Corporal Dustin Carpenter as the Independence County Officer of the year, Arkansas State Police Trooper Remington Lively as the Izard County Officer of the year, Searcy County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Joey Baysinger, Arkansas State Police Senior Special Agent Wendall Jines as the Sharp County Officer of the year, Arkansas State Police Trooper Jonathan Arnold as the Stone County Officer of the year, and Clinton Police Department Officer Terri Hicks as the Van Buren County Officer of the year.

“Arkansas is lucky to have men and women in blue who put their lives on the line to protect, often sacrificing so much for our communities” said Attorney General Rutledge.

Every year, Attorney General Rutledge honors Officers of the Year from all 75 Arkansas counties, in addition to statewide and regional winners.
