Bad Boy Mowers Announces Expansion Plans in Batesville

An economic development announcement was made today at Bad Boy Mowers at 1030am.  Governor Beebe made the announcement of some very exciting news.

Bad Boy Mowers, of Batesville announced plans to expand its operations in Batesville.  The company will expand in a 274,000-square-foot facility, which was formerly home to GDX Automotive.  With the addition of the former GDX facility, Bad Boy will have more than 570,000 square feet of manufacturing and distribution space.

The new facility will be used as a distribution facility for orders placed through Tractor Supply Company, one of Bad Boy’s major clients.

The company currently manufactures five versions of zero-turn mowers, which are available through dealers throughout the U.S., as well as Australia, Canada, Denmark, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

Bad Boy plans to begin distribution in the new facility by January of 2009.
