Batesville Chamber To Host Business Expo and Annual Awards Ceremony

The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the 2013 Business Expo. This 4-hour jam-packed marketplace features more than 75 businesses showcasing their latest products, services, and technologies. Gift card drawings will be held and there will be opportunities to win cash and other prizes.  Food vendors will be set up to feature “A Taste of the Chamber.”

Awards to be presented are Large Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, New Business of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, and Ambassador of the Year.

Crystal Johnson, BACC President/CEO said, “We are proud to partner with First Community Bank to provide the business community with an opportunity to network with other professionals and exhibit their products and services to a diverse and captive audience. We expect “A Taste of the Chamber” to attract over 500 potential customers. The Business Expo is designed to create sales and leads for our members.”

The event will take place January 23, from 10a.m.-2p.m. on the campus of UACCB in Independence Hall. The Annual Awards Ceremony will begin at 10:30a.m. in the auditorium. The Expo Hall will be open to Chamber members only from 10a.m.-12p.m., “A Taste of the Chamber” will be open from 11a.m.-1p.m., and the Expo Hall will be open to the public from 12pm-2pm.

The theme for the expo is “Chamberopoly – The Batesville Area Chamber and YOU, Winning the Game of Business.”

Expo booth space is sold out. However, a waiting list is available for booth space should cancellations occur.  Admission is free.
