The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce 2010 Christmas Parade float winners. A total of 17 floats were entered into the parade which took place on Main Street in downtown Batesville Saturday, December 4th. The two divisions for entry were commercial and non profit/civic organizations/religious groups.
Trophies may be picked up from the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce. Parade winners were selected by a panel of judges.
In the non profit/civic organizations/religious group winners are:
Boys Scouts Pack 220- 1 st place, Future Fuel Chemical Company- 2nd place, and Center Point Energy- 3rd place.
In the commercial group winners are: Sonic- America’s Drive In-1st
place, Southside High School JAG class- 2nd place, and Independence County Humane Society – 3rd place.
