Max Gammill issues “Boil Water Notice” for all Van Buren County Water Association customers. This includes all areas with at this time with the exception of Highway 9, and all side roads feeding from Highway 9.
This order is issued as a precautionary measure because of the possibility that contaminated water may have entered the distribution system as the result of a partial loss of normal system pressure due to Clinton Water’s inability to furnish water due of mechanical problems.
Under the “Boil Water;’ Notice; all affected customers are advised that the water may be unsafe for human consumption and water used for drinking ‘or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one (1) minute prior to use.
This boil order is in effect for Van Buren County Water Association Customers.
