A day at the Golf Course can help us to continue our vision-screening program for the Cabot community, buy a pair of eyeglasses for a local child, or even assist a local adult in receiving a much needed glaucoma or cataract surgery. The Cabot Lions Club will again host their Annual “Memorial” Golf Classic on Monday, September 12th, 2022 with a “Shot Gun Start” at 1:00pm. The 4-Person Scramble will be held at Cabot’s Rolling Hills Country Club (located on Mount Carmel Road/Highway 321).

Entry Fees are $100 per Person / $400 per Team, which includes your greens fees, golf cart, and 2 free mulligans. Prizes will be presented for the top 3 winning teams & additional tournament contest prizes will be awarded. There will be 2 amazing Hole-In-One Contests this year, sponsored by Centennial Bank & McLarty Nissan. Additionally, your entry fee includes a phenomenal Steak & Baked-Potato Dinner, which will be served immediately following tournament play (approx. 5pm). Also, there will be wonderful door prizes given away, during the tournament.

This year’s tournament is being held in loving memory of Lion Rick Meadows, who loyally served the Cabot community in so many ways, from 1984 to 2014. Proceeds raised from this event will go directly toward providing Vision-Screenings, Eye Exams & the purchase of Eyeglasses for Local School Children & in-need Adults. We also provide sponsorships to in-need Children & Adults for vision-saving procedures & surgeries. Assistance is also provided to those who may request life-skills training or guide-dog training.
