Causey Shows Impressive Q1 Fundraising Support

JONESBORO—Chad Causey’s campaign announced an impressive first quarter fundraising total Monday, pulling in $270,000 since kicking off on February 9, 2010.  The campaign reported $212,000 on hand as of March 31, 2010.

“I’m humbled and overwhelmed by the outpouring of support my campaign has received in its first 51 days,” said Causey. “I’m thrilled that our fundraising efforts have matched our grassroots support, and I will continue to promise voters that no one will work harder or listen longer as their next Congressman as I will.”

Causey was born and raised in Jonesboro.  He graduated from Jonesboro High School, where his mother, Gussi Causey, is a guidance counselor.  He earned a law degree from Catholic University of America at night, while working full time on behalf of the First Congressional District.  Causey, a Methodist, is engaged to Meredith McNeil of Newport.
