Description: The University of Central Arkansas Wind Ensemble will present an evening of music titled “Something Old, Something New” on Monday, March 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the Donald W. Reynolds Performance Hall on the UCA campus.
The concert, free and open to the public, will present music spanning a variety of styles from classical to jazz.
The UCA Wind Ensemble, conducted by Dr. Ricky Brooks, has performed at the International Music Festival in Vienna and Salzburg, Austria, Carnegie Hall, New York City, the Capitol in Washington D.C., and several regional and state music conventions. The Wind Ensemble has commissioned and premiered several works by Arkansas composer, Charles Booker.
