Children Pay Special Visit to Parents at White County Medical Center

School-age children who attend the White County Medical Center Child Development Center summer program recently paid a special visit to their parents who work at the hospital. The kids were excited to see where their parents work and tour the hospital, as well.

Amanda Heep, RN on 4 South, (pictured at left) with her son Maddox and Kim Bennett, Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist, with her daughter Karlie Cochran, enjoyed a few hugs from their children during the visit.

Teachers of the school-age class at the Child Development Center plan field trips and activities for the children each day throughout the summer including swimming, skating, bowling, watching movies, playing at the park and visiting the public library, as well as other fun activities at the Center.

WCMC provides on-site childcare at the Child Development Center for infants to preschool age year-round and up to age 12 during the summer months.
