Cleburne County Master Gardener training

The Cleburne County Extension Office is now accepting application for the Master Gardener Fall Training. The webinar training will be on Wednesdays, beginning October 9 and ending November 6. We will meet at the Extension Office (Judge Claude Dill Office Complex) in Heber Springs to watch the training. The training will start at 8:30 a.m., break for lunch at noon and end at 4 p.m. each day.

It is open to anyone interested in gardening and willing to participate in one or more of the public horticultural projects sponsored by the Master Gardeners throughout the county. First-year Master Gardeners are required to commit 40 hours of volunteer time their first year and 20 hours per year thereafter. Please call the Extension Office at 501-362-2524 for more information or to request an application. The deadline for applications to be returned to the Extension Office is Friday, September 13th. Cost is $85 for the zoom training webinar which includes the educational component, plus the book and a thumb drive.
