Construction on U.S. Highway 67 Requires Alternating Lane Closures in Jacksonville

Construction on U.S. Highway 67 requires an alternating lane closure, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, beginning at 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 26th, through 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 27th, contractors will work to open the northbound Main St. off ramp (Exit 9) and start shifting the U.S. Highway 67 northbound traffic to the newly constructed concrete pavement just south of the Redmond Road off ramp (Exit 8). The contractor will also use this closure to install pavement markings and move barrier wall.

Traffic will be controlled with message boards, signage and traffic drums. Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ARDOT.gov. You can also follow us on Twitter @myARDOT.
