Corps Lakes Hosting Hunt for Individuals with Disabilities

Vicksburg, Ms… The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District,(Corps) hosted a special hunting event on DeGray Lake for sportsmen with disabilities. The Corps partnered with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission to provide this unique recreational opportunity.

Local Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Wildlife Officers along with Corps Rangers were on hand at the DeGray Lake Wildlife Management Area to ensure the safety of the Participant’s in this special hunt.

Through donations from area businesses, each hunter and assistant were presented a T-shirt and pocket knife commemorating this year’s event.

As stewards of public lands, the Corps of Engineers is dedicated to providinga safe, quality recreational experience for all visitors.
