Corridor Study Requires Public Input at Meeting about Improving State Highway 89 between Conway and Cabot

The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) and Metroplan will hold public involvement meetings in Jacksonville and Mayflower to present and discuss a corridor study to improve State Highway 89 between Conway and Cabot.

The study seeks to determine the need for and feasibility of a continuous State Highway 89 corridor. The focus of the study is to make State Highway 89 a key component of the regional arterial network, providing a continuous east-west corridor from Interstate 40 to U.S. Highway 67 north of Camp Robinson.

The public is invited to visit any time during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments. The meeting will follow an open house format and will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
