Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) released the statement below after the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled to allow the state of Arkansas to enforce a ban on elective abortions during the China virus outbreak:
“Medical resources—especially during a pandemic—should be used to preserve life, not end it. Today the 8th Circuit Court upheld the rule of law, rightly supporting Arkansas’s decision to dedicate its healthcare system to saving the lives of Arkansans,” said Cotton.
