COVID – 19 Drive-Thru Screening Available at White River Medical Center in Batesville

A Community Drive-Thru Screening event to assess and test for Coronavirus (COVID – 19) will be at White River Medical Center’s East Entrance on Thursday, May 21 from 3 pm until 6 pm. Medical professionals will assess all participants for symptoms and possible exposure. If needed participants will be tested for Coronavirus (COVID-19) Insurance information is required; however, anyone without insurance can call (870) 613-6145 to make arrangements. Photo ID is also required.

Symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID – 19) include abdominal pain, body aches, iarrhea, dry cough, fever, headache, shortness of breath, and sore throat. Anyone experiencing these symptoms or who suspects they have been exposed COVID – 19 can participate. All participants must arrive in a vehicle, and remain in their vehicles to await direction from staff. WRMC requests participants to limit the number of people in each vehicle to only those needing the screening and asks that those needing screenings be seated next to a working window. There will be no access to restrooms during the screening.

The Community Drive-Thru Screening event is a collaborative screening between the Independence County Health Department, UAMS Family Medical Center, and White River Health System Residents and staff. Anyone with questions can call (870) 613-6145.
