Craftsfest 2012 in Mountain Home June 15-16

“CRAFTSFEST” is the oldest continuously sponsored craft show (fair) in Mountain Home. Craftsfest is sponsored by the Arts and Crafts Association of Mountain Home, which was first organized in 1961. The first fairs were held on the Court House lawn in Mountain Home in 1962 (that’s 49 years ago) and moved to the Village Mall in 1980. In 2006 we moved to the Education building at the Baxter Co. Fairgrounds. Education building at the fairgrounds is air conditioned and handicap.

The Arts & Crafts Association is celebrating their 50th anniversary this year and will hold special drawings during “Craftsfest” for items donated by their craftsmen.

Approx. 60 booths will be operated by crafters from through out Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Illinois, and Oklahoma. Their handcrafted items will be on display for your shopping pleasure.

The KITCHEN will be staffed by Parents of Home Schooled Children and they will serve breakfast, lunch and snack items.

ENTERTAINMENT will be provided on Friday by Small World Preschool. There will also be a face painter available both days.

Everyone is welcome. Admission is free. Remember that is Friday June 15 (9-5) and Saturday June 16 (9-4)at the Baxter County Fairgrounds in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
