White County Medical Center Director of MaterialsManagement David Wilson has been named the Purchasing-Materials ManagementPerson of the Year by the Society for Arkansas Healthcare Purchasing andMaterials Management (SAHPMM); Wilsonwas selected as this year’s recipient by a group of his peers andvendors. He has also been invited to serve on the organization’s Board ofDirectors.
“I am very proud of David andwhat he has accomplished through his leadership of our Materials Managementteam,” said toAssociate Vice President of Fiscal Services B.J. Roberts.“It is an honor for WCMC and David to be recognized by this professionalsociety as a leader in supply chain operations.”
“This award is a testament toour Materials Management team and the kind of people we have working here; therecognition is wonderful, but it has very little to do with me, it’s ateam effort,” Wilsonsaid. “I’m thankful to work with an outstanding team of people hereat our hospital.”
