Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Cancels Week of TV in Little Rock

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) has cancelled its planned television run in the Little Rock media market for the week of October 19th.

The cancellation could signal a desire to focus valuable media money to other competitive races outside of the Second Congressional District. Democrat Joyce Elliott faces Republican Tim Griffin, Independent Lance Levi and Green Party nominee Lewis Kennedy in the race to replace retiring Democratic Rep. Vic Snyder.

TV stations in the Little Rock media market had nearly $500,000 of airtime reserved at the DCCC’s request beginning Oct. 19 through Oct. 25.
