If you have suffered disaster-related damage to your home, personal property or business and have questions about available assistance, you may visit the Independence County Mobile Disaster Recovery Center at the Batesville National Guard Armory, located at 1690 White Drive. The Batesville Chamber of Commerce will have available free of charge registration forms for those who have had damage in the recent floods. You may also qualify for Disaster Unemployment Assistance NOW, Deadline is April 30th. Please come by the Chamber to pick up your forms, or you can call 1-800-621-3362 and register or go to www.fema.gov.
