Do You Have A Special Family Member or Friend That You Would Like To Honor?

Do You Have A Special Family Member or Friend That You Would Like To Honor?

What better way to “honor” or “remember” someone, who has served our country and/or our community, than to have a visible display?  You have that opportunity with the “Field of Honor”, which is coordinated by the Cabot Lions Club.  This beautiful display of U.S. Flags will be set-up for a two week period that will include Veterans Day.

The project is planned again for 2022 & the Cabot Lions are asking for your sponsorships.  Flags will be displayed to honor not only past veterans, but those currently serving in the military, as well as any first-responders: firefighters, police officers, EMTs, etc.  A laminated tag will be displayed with each U.S. Flag, which will include the honoree’s name, area of service, years served or serving, and a logo of the branch of service or first-responder.

Do You Have A Special Family Member or Friend That You Would Like To Salute?  You Can Do It In One Of TWO METHODS: “In Honor Of” or “In Remembrance Of”.  Just complete a sponsorship form & let us know the area(s) in which they served; Branch of Service: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, or a First-Responder: Police Department, Fire Department, Emergency Medical Services.

Laminated tags, to be displayed with U.S. Flags, are available for a sponsorship of $25.00.  If you would like to also purchase the U.S. Flag, with a laminated tag, the donation is $50.00.  The Cabot Lions will be sure that you receive your personalized tags & flags, following Veteran’s Day.  Sponsor forms are now available.  Deadline for sponsorships is November 5th.

This year’s wonderful Flags Display will be set-up on the acreage adjoining Mount Carmel Baptist Church, located on South Pine Street/Highway 89 South & Mount Carmel Road, from November 6th to November 19th. The Cabot Lions are very grateful for this generous gesture in allowing for the set-up there. The display will join many other features, in conjunction with the very special visit of “The Wall That Heals” that will be making it’s stop right here in Arkansas.
