Title: EReader Workshop in White County Sept 14
Description: The White County Regional Library System announces an ebook workshop to be held at the Searcy Public Library on September 14, 2012. Come anytime between the hours of 9:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m that day with your questions about how to download ebooks to an ereader. Donovan Mays, Coordinator of Technology Support at the Arkansas State Library will be conducting the workshop and will bring a variety of popular ereaders for hands-on demonstration and practice. Attendees may also bring their own ereader device if they have questions about downloading library ebooks to that device.
The White County Regional Library System has recently made ebooks available to its library members. This growing collection of over 500 ebooks contains popular titles for adults, teens, and children. Titles are checked out for a maximum of two weeks and can be downloaded via the new library website, www.whitecountylibraries.org anytime, anywhere to most electronic reading devices including the Nook, Kindle, and iPad.
