Fairfield Bay Community Education Center to hold Leadership Seminars

The Fairfield Bay Community Education Center will hold a (3) hour seminar on developing leadership by identifying leadership styles and how to best use those styles to work with and through others in achieving personal and professional goals.

Principles of leadership apply to almost any venue, and participants will explore ways to effectively apply those basic principles to their unique situations. The seminar is open to individuals or teams from various corporate, hospital or school environments, and is limited to sixteen (16) participants per session. In an effort to personalize the session as much as possible, each registrant will complete a brief form describing his or her current status. High school seniors will also be accepted.

Rebecca Giannini will be the instructor for the two sessions.  She has a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Leadership and over 40 years of experience in a variety of leadership roles including Principal, Superintendent, Adjunct Professor at University of Memphis Dept. of Leadership, and School Improvement Specialist consulting with the Tennessee Department of Education in At Risk Schools.

Sessions will be held 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. on Saturdays, November 5 and 12, with the latter being a repeat.   The cost of each session is $50.
