Fall Ball Bash softball tournament to benefit ASMSA Oct 9

Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts will host a USSSA-sanctioned men’s C and below softball tournament. Proceeds to benefit ASMSA Foundation Fund.

The Fourth Annual Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts Fall Ball Bash will be held on Saturday, Oct. 9 at Kimery Park in Hot Springs. This is a United States Specialty Sports Association-sanctioned men’s C and below event. The ASMSA Fall Ball Bash is a fundraiser for the school and all proceeds will go to the ASMSA Foundation Fund, which supports the school’s academic and residential life programs.  To encourage participation, USSSA is offering a $15 discount on USSSA registration fees to all new teams. USSSA typically charges a $25 annual registration fee to teams participating in sanctioned events.
“It’s a great chance to save $15 and come play USSSA in Hot Springs,” said Chris Robbins, ASMSA dean of Distance Education. “It’s also a great way to help a really worthy cause.”
In addition to the USSSA incentives, the school will award a team bat valued at approximate $300 to the winners.
The tournament entry fee for the ASMSA Fall Ball Bash is $150. Registration deadline is Thursday, Oct. 7.  Teams interested in playing can call 501-622-5130 or 501-282-7169 for more information.
